Jim Hardenbrook engraved Bowie, iron wood handles, coffin pommel, engraved guard, ferrule and pommel, engraved B-002, marked JHH. 13 3/4'' oal, 9'' blade. Jim was one of the finest makers of his day who was just starting to gain world wide attention as a top teir maker when he was killed in a hunting accident. He had taken an elk with a bow, was riding out with the elk when his horse spooked, causing the arrows in his belt quiver to fall out just before he fell off the horse. It was a tragic circumstance, he left a large family, and had he lived would have been in the legendary class. The quality of this knife matches the best you see today. Sheath is a Kenny Rowe (did not come with the knife originally.) Mint.
