Handmade by James B. Lile Bowie with dogbone style sculpted wood handle with decorative pins, 12 on the escutcheon side, 10 on the underside, pinned, and shield. No sheath, mint. Engraved ''No. 3 of 3'', 14 1/4'' oal, 9 1/2'' blade, scalloped guard, grooved ferrule and pommel, knife is mint except for some storage specking that should clean easily. Leather sheath that fits but not sure it is original to the knife.
